The plastic is kindof a red flag. There is no way that 22 year old plastic still looks that good, is there?

If it was garaged and a sunshade was used, it easily could be original. By the look of the truck, the owner definitely babied it.

It should be reliable, cheap to insure, and good on gas. Those are pretty convincing arguments. If they mention safety, then your stuck with a Saab or a Volvo in that price range.

My Dad's engine and such looks great. Both the carpet and the plastic don't look that good though. You're right.
